For all intents and purposes, the deck be done. I still have a couple of spots to touch up tomorrow, but the deck project is complete. Needless to say, and easily seen by the three posts covering this project, it was a little more involved than I anticipated. I hope the paint is durable so I don't have to do this again for a long time.
Fair seas and God bless.
You need sunglasses just to look at the boat in full sunlight.
ReplyDeleteRegarding durability, if any part fails, at least you only need to do touch ups. I hope it lasts for you. That's a lot of work.
Thanks Dan!
ReplyDeleteI know! When I came in from painting, I couldn't see inside the cabin... WHITE OUT! lol.
I'm keeping an extra quart onboard for touch ups.
doing any offset color for the nonskid areas or just sticking with white all over?
ReplyDeleteSticking with white all over. It's cool to the feet even in the hottest sun, it's easier to touch up, (only had to carry one color), and it looks nice and clean
