Well, the progress on lowering the V-Berth is continuing... slowly.
When I went to Home Depot to buy the white PVC Wainscot planks I used in the V-Berth in the initial refit, I discovered that they are no longer carrying that particular product. So... what to do?
After inspecting other products they carry, I decided to go with cedar planks. The packs were only $12 bucks each containing 6 tongue and groove planks 4 inches wide and 8 ft. long. Needless to say, the V-Berth is starting to look and smell great. I had to remove the white PVC Wainscot and will reuse it elsewhere on the boat.
I'm hoping to be finished with the V-Berth by midweek... I'll keep adding pictures to Annie's Facebook Page and will post the completed job here next week.
Fair seas and God bless!
Good choice. That looks good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dan... I think so too.
