V-Berth Progress Continues...

The lowering of the V-Berth continues.

I am so pleased with my decision to lower the V-Berth and to use cedar to replace the wainscot PVC paneling.  The whole boat smells great and the V-Berth is looking great (IMHO).

I'm engaged in finishing work now, which is a time bandit.

Not a lot to say... it is what it is - carpentry work... here's the pics...

Fair seas and God bless!

  1. I've been interested in tiny houses for a long time. Many people building then use pine or cedar planks for interiors. That's what it makes me think of. Like a nice little cabin in the woods. The doors look really good too.

Going to do any staining or sealing of the planks? I'd probably keep it natural myself.

    1. Thanks Dan...

I think I'm going to leave it natural. Staining is OK but I like the natural cedar smell and I think it looks great as is.

Finish it today and the mattress will be in on Thursday.
