New course projections still have it making landfall at or near Carrabelle.
Annie is now stripped of her mainsail with two extra stands in place... all that is left to do is wait and see.
I am a little concerned when she is still 350-400 miles away and we are already getting extreme tides.
Fair seas and God bless!
Wow, it looks like Hermine's got a bullseye on Carrbelle. I hope it moves a little more to the east today. You got a very strong ship and it looks like you did the right things correct to get her ready, so now the hard part, waiting.
ReplyDeleteYes... Carrabelle is in its sights. And you're right, waiting is the hardest part. She'll make landfall at 2:00 AM and though I'm 50 miles NE in Tallahassee, I'll probably be awake waiting for it to pass enough for me to head back down there.
DeleteThe is a rather large shrimp boat next to me and one of the shrimp boat crew is riding the storm... he said he'll call if anything drastic happens.
